Cooped Up

So since I have had Madison my poor kids have been cooped up in the house more then usual so I have had to find ways of entertaining them. Plus the weather here is so random I never know what it is going to be like each day. So here they are painting, which I thought would be a disaster but it turned out ok with little mess.If anyone has any ideas for good indoor activities for those days where I know I won't make it out with all three kids, please let me know.

Fire

Yesterday evening I was in the family room with Taylor feeding Madison and I hear Bryce saying something to Brooklyn to stop doing something. When I was done I walked into the kitchen to see that the toaster oven had a fire in it. So Bryce had been in the kitchen the whole time but he was washing stuff from the grill and wasn't paying close attention to Brooklyn. He said he had seen Brooklyn by the toaster but wasn't sure what she was doing.


Well the fire in the toaster just kept growing, the fire alarm was going off, and Taylor was getting scared. The thing that started the fire was now leaking out of the toaster and burning a hole in the countertop. Bryce finally got it unplugged and took it outside to get the fire out. While transporting it though it was dripping causing more holes in the counter top. Come to find out Brooklyn had stuck a plastic cup in it and turned on the oven part causing it to melt and catch on fire. I really have to watch that girl, next thing I know it will be the whole house.This isn't just a nasty dirty toaster oven, that is the green cup melted and burned in it.The lovely three burn marks now in the counter.

Easter

Although Easter happened for me it didn't seem like Easter weekend. My mother in law took the kids to the egg hunt and then on Sunday I stayed home with Madison and didn't go to church. The only Easter thing I did was fill the eggs and make the baskets. There is always next year though! Still good to see the kids enjoyed it even though I missed out on the hunt.

2 Weeks!

I can't believe that Madison is two weeks today! It feels like she has been here longer but at the same time like I just had her. We sure do love her, she just needs to get her days and nights straight.


Taylor just loves her! He is so good and always says he will watch her for me.
K so I know that I am no photographer and my camera is nothing close to a photographer's camera but I wanted to try and get some naked pics of her. I wish they would have turned out a little better.

The finished Projects

Welp here are the pictures of the finished projects that I started awhile ago. Thank goodness for friends that finished a couple of them for me since I don't have a sewing machine. Plus I tried to borrow my friends and that didn't turn out too good since I thought I broke it.

Madison Belle

Born March 31
Weight 7 lbs. 4 oz.
Height 19 inches

She is my smallest one and was in there the longest. Both of us are doing good even though I am a bit of a slacker for just getting pictures up. She was born with a mop of dark hair- which was no surprise and looks just like Brooklyn and Taylor did.

Just a few moments old.Taylor and Brooklyn love their new sister! We are going home! Now the adventure begins.
